Photos of the cottage have been posted recently on the North Truro Facebook Group by Kristin Hall, executrix.

Kristin also left this nice memory:

'The cottage was built in the early 60's; the section on the left used to be a barn, I believe. Pictured are my great-grandparents on the right, and the friends who assisted with the build. It was always used as a summer cottage up until about 13 years ago when the previous owner allowed it to fall into grave disrepair. It's certainly unfortunate as many happy memories took place there--even the trips to the hardware store to purchase new cedar shakes that were vandalized at the rear of the property repetitively. It was all part our "Cape Cod experience" that we took in stride. Although the cottage is not salvageable, I'd like to see a similar structure in its footprint. Over the years, so many had written or left notes on our car that they'd like to stay there: to recharge, to write, to paint. One such person described it as "magical"; it is. It would be a wonderful place to share with those who'd love it just as much as I and my family once did."
